How to Get Rich? 15 Practical Ways to Make Money
Your attitude towards money matters!
You may be among those people who think generating money is so simple and easy; or you might think it needs painstaking hard physical work…
You may see yourself swimming in waves of prosperity and abundance; or you might think that money is just not for you…
In fact the truth is “Your attitude reflects your financial condition.” GMCKS
Some people, specially the ones who are pursuing a spiritual path, often think that materialism and money is not good, as they believe money is the source of evil. However taught by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, “being materialistic in a Spiritual way is good.”
If virtuous people are prosperous, the world will become a better place to live in as many people can be benefited from their generosity and will to do good.
In fact getting money is not so difficult, you just need to know how to prepare your system and how to look for it. Getting rich has a science behind it. You just need to follow the steps and the results will follow. Whatever you do, from whatever background you have come from and wherever you are right now, you can become prosperous. You just need to have a clear target, intention and plan and make yourself follow certain instructions.
We believe that the steps discussed here can help you reach your target effectively and in a shorter time.
1. Live on a budget
No matter how much you earn, if you know how to budget your expenses you can get rich. Write down your income and your expenses; see where you spend more. Cut down the unnecessary expenses. You don’t need to be very hard on yourself; put some budget for fun as well. The key is just to watch your expenses and moderate them. Watch out for small expenses. Go for the “needs” rather than “wants.”
Buy smart!
Shops, supermarkets and products are sometimes very tempting. Don’t let yourself get emotionally affected by advertisements. Use your Mental Body rather than giving up to emotions; buy only what you need.
Differentiate between necessities and desires. Differentiate between strong desire and spontaneous desire. -GMCKS
2. Save
It is recommended to open a separate bank account only for your savings. The moment you get your salary or earn something, take out minimum 10% and put it in your savings bank account.

3. Tithe
Tithing is a science. It is based on the Law of Karma; as you saw abundantly, you reap abundantly! ”If you want millions of dollars, give and share wisely.” GMCKS
Tithing is not an expense, it is an investment; a Karmic investment! There is a saying that what you give, you shall receive. We cannot reap what we have not sown! No giving means, no money. In fact the Law of Karma supersedes the Law of attraction. Even if you have a strong desire and you use several techniques such as visualization technique to achieve your dream, if you are not karmically entitled, you will not achieve it. Be wise! Create lots of good karma through tithing!
The Science of Materialization works only if you have something to karmically withdraw. What you want to receive is what you must give. -GMCKS
At least 10% of our income should be allocated for tithing and donation. This is the practice that many successful businessmen do including Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Warrant Buffet. When you donate, do it wisely. It is better to use tithing for spiritual and educational scholarships, training people for new skills and supply projects. In this way many people can get benefited. And remember that when you tithe you also should be willing to receive. If you just wan to give, give and give but never willing to receive the prosperity energy cannot flow to your life. This in turn, affects your ability to give in the long run.
“Giving and receiving is a cycle. To break the cycle will result in disaster. Non-giving is disastrous. Non-receiving is equally disastrous. The cycle must be maintained.” GMCKS
4. Buy good quality
It is not always good to buy cheap! Actually it is not really matter that what you buy is expensive or cheap, but it should be a good quality product. If you buy something just because it is cheap, it might not work long and you may need to change it again. You invest once in buying a good-quality product, you save on the future expenses. There is a saying that “I am not prosperous enough to buy cheap.”
5. Practice the virtue of “generosity and non-stealing”
As you give generously, you will receive abundantly. Generosity creates good karma of prosperity while stealing brings poverty.
Avoid stealing of any sort. There is a saying that “cheats never prosper.” Be generous! Generosity and non-stealing should be practiced at all levels; physically by being charitable and helpful, especially with money, emotionally by being warm and appreciative and mentally by avoiding plagiarism. Enviousness is also a form of stealing.
An inability to feel happy when other people are successful will pull you down. Avoid enviousness. -GMCKS
Pay whomever you need to pay, on time. If you have a business, pay your staff well and on time. If you have rentals to settle and payments to make, do it on time. When you delay in giving people their money, your money will be given to you with delay. Underpaying people is also a form of stealing. Practice justice.
6. Go debt free

7. Work Smart
First of all if you are applying to work in a company, look at the highest salary of the employees. If the highest salary is not what you are looking for, apply for another company, another job. Choose your job well. If it is something that you love doing, you will surely get successful.
Be prepared, work intelligent and industriousness. There is a saying that “money does not grow on trees.” You need to work for it; not necessarily very hard, but smart. Time management can help you prioritize your works and get them done effectively.
You also need to be responsible. “The price of greatness is responsibility.” Winston Churchill
If you have your own business, you need to have a clear purpose and plan well. It is believed that “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” Look at all the details and assess the risks. Most of the times failure happens because of not planning out the details well and inability to calculate the risks well.
Avoid a big overhead or excessive expenses. Avoid financial risks. -GMCKS
When you want to start a project or invest in a business, ask yourself that if something goes wrong, can you still handle the risk or not?! Think! Plan properly and apply effectively.
8. Create prosperity consciousness
“Money is like a woman! If you say you do not like her, she will go away. Silently affirm to yourself: Money flows to me like a river! Money rains on me like a waterfall!” GMCKS
You should have prosperity consciousness. Change your attitude towards money. If you cannot ask for money for whatever service you do, if you think you cannot get rich, if you think having a lot of money may affect your character, you probably have poverty consciousness. There are many people saying that “money is bad,” “money is the source of evil,” etc. but these are not correct. Money is concretized energy. Money is power, and it is neutral; not good, nor bad. Money in the hands of right people can be used for the benefit of many.
To attract money abundantly, you need to change your attitude towards money. You need to create a prosperity consciousness. Dress well. Look prosperous and professional. You don’t need to buy expensive cloths, but your look should be presentable and smart. There is a saying that “cloths make the man.”
Be confident. You may use positive affirmations to be able to attract money easily and more effectively such as “I am prosperous and happy, ”“money flows to me like a river,” “money rains on me like a waterfall,” “money comes to me easily and abundantly,” so be it.
9. Learn Kriyashakti

Success does not necessarily depend on hard physical work. Reformulate your strategy! -GMCKS
In fact Kriyashakti provides a set of powerful techniques to properly harness the power of thoughts and subtle energies to create a life of prosperity and success both materially and spiritually. Kriyashakti makes you feel powerful and alive! “When you are generating Prana Shakti, you feel alive!” GMCKS
10. Help others get rich
Based on the “Golden Rule,” whatever you want, you need to give to others and whatever you don’t want, you should not do unto others. If you want to be rich, you need to help other people get rich, by finding job for them, creating job opportunities and blessing them with prosperity.
The more you help people get rich, the more you help yourself. Instead of wanting all the money for you and creating an unhealthy competition, create a win-win situation. Be smart, the secret in getting prosperous is to create good karma of prosperity. It is not just hard physical work. Reformulate your strategy.
“The secret of Making Money in the stock market is in allowing the other guy to Make Money! If you want to make money, you must let other people Make Money.” GMCKS
11. Be good at what you do
If you want the business to go to you, you need to be one of the bests. Be good at what you do! There is a saying that “a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.” Insufficient knowledge and skill, increases the chances of failure. Make yourself one of the bests in your area of expertise and in what you do.
Finish whatever you start and do it well. It is widely believed that “If something is worth doing, it is worth doing well.”
12. Invest
In order to increase your money, you need to invest, but try to maintain plenty of liquidity at all times. When you want to invest in something, assess the risks. Think what is the worst situation.
There are always risks. Calculate: What is the probability? What is the cost? What will happen if something goes wrong? Always calculate if the profit generated is enough to meet the expenses. -GMCKS
One of the problems in business is the inability to calculate the profit and expenses. Sometimes expenses overpass the profit! As much as possible the projects you start should be self-financing. Invest in a market that brings a good overhead. Invest in various areas. There is a saying that, “don’t put all your eggs in one basket.” In this way if one market goes down, you won’t loose all your money and you will have enough to survive until it goes up again.
Invest, especially if you do a lot of charity and regular tithing. “If you do not Save and Invest, there are fewer channels for your Good Karma to manifest.” GMCKS
13. Try Pranic Healing

When you become careless with money, it means that the Basic Chakra is not as strong and as healthy as it should be. The lower chakras are the anchors in your life. Your output in life is only as good as your chakras. The condition of your chakras affects your prosperity. Get Pranic Healing! -GMCKS
Therefore to increase one’s ability to attract money, the lower chakras as well as a number of higher chakras such as Ajna chakra should be treated.
Pranic Healing in this case as a successful science and art of healing can be very helpful. Pranic Healing techniques can be used to balance and improve the condition of the chakras as well as the aura. Pranic Healing can be applied by individuals as a self-healing approach or by professional healers for any individual.
Once the chakras are healthy and strong, the condition of the person will substantially get improved. If you have a lot of debts and find it difficult to attract money or earn more, if you are jobless or always change jobs, you need to strengthen your chakras, especially the Basic chakra.
14. Choose good friends
Choose friends that help you save and invest a portion of your money. If you have friends that mostly encourage you to spend and spend more, better to rethink. If you are with people that normally spend carelessly and waste a lot, you will be forced to do the same, which leaves you will lots of debts and no savings. Be careful with your friends. Choose the right ones.
Help your friends to save, invest and get richer and ask for their help. Especially when you are young, you need to think more about saving and investing, rather than spending money. There is a saying that “God helps those who help themselves.” Do your best, help others and see how you will be helped.
15. Start Now
Time is money. It is precious. Start your planning, business and carrier just now! Don’t procrastinate. Getting rich is not so difficult; you just need to start somewhere.
What is important is not where you are right now. What is important is where you want to be! -GMCKS
Use your time properly and intelligently. “The future is in your hands… You are destined to be successful.” GMCKS

How Chakras Affect Our Prosperity
Looking at our human system, we see a being far beyond this physical form, with a luminous energy body or aura, and various other bodies around including emotional, mental and causal bodies, each of which have significant functions.
The energy body in this case not only acts as a mold or pattern for the physical body but also controls and energizes the vital internal organs. Chakras are whirling energy centers in the energy body that play vital roles in our health and well-being. Chakras basically work on different levels; they have physical, psychological and spiritual functions.
This means that the condition of our chakras decide our health condition, as well as our character, weaknesses and strengths. Following the same pattern, certain chakras affect our financial situation and prosperity level.
The difference between a person who is lazy, sluggish and is incapable of earning much with a successful businessman is in fact evident in their chakra pattern. Thus to make more money, to be able to have a stable financial life and to be successful in business, besides the intelligent hard physical work, we need to take care of our chakras.
One of the chakras that highly affect our financial situation and our ability to earn more is Basic chakra, also known as “Muladhara” in Sanskrit or simply the “Root chakra.”
Psychologically, this chakra is the center for instinct of self-survival. While a strong healthy Basic chakra leads to dynamism, industriousness, ability to attract money and feeling lively, a weak Basic chakra causes laziness, procrastination, depression, suicidal tendencies and inability to attract money, find or keep a job.
Therefore one of the key elements to achieve success in business or have a prosperous life is to have a healthy Basic chakra.
When you become careless with money, it means that the Basic Chakra is not as strong and healthy as it should be. -Grand Master Choa Kok Sui
Strong Navel chakra, as the center for lower sensitivity and Solar Plexus chakra, as the center for lower emotions such as courage also contribute to success in business and career.
In fact the condition of our lower chakras are highly important in determining our achievements and the ability to manifest our dreams and plans.
The lower chakras are the anchors in your life. Your output in life is only as good as your chakras. The condition of your chakras affects your prosperity. Get Pranic Healing. -Grand Master Choa Kok Sui
Some of the higher chakras, such as Ajna chakra, the will center, are also needed to make a successful businessman as it highly affects our ability to direct people and to make plans. In fact to have holistic wealth, all the chakras should be healthy and work harmoniously.
There are in fact many methods of keeping chakras healthy and normal. One of the most effective technologies to clean, strengthen and balance the chakras in this case is Pranic Healing, widely known as the science and art of energy healing. Its methods not only help you maintain a healthy and successful life, but also can be used to help our fellow men.
Whatever technique you are using, and whatever system you are following, for a successful business and career you need to have strong healthy chakras.
There is a saying that most limitations come from within, not from without. Remember “Life has no limitations, except the ones you make.” -Les Brown

PranaFood | Garlic
Garlic is a vegetable well-known worldwide for its health benefits, medical usages as well as its smell, which has put the “stinking rose” name on it. Its smell basically comes from its sulfur-containing compounds.
In traditional medicine, garlic has been used for its helpfulness in treating a wide range of heart and circulatory ailments such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart attack. It is known for its cleansing and decongesting properties, as well as a good nutrition to prevent cancer.
All these cleansing and decongesting properties of garlic are basically the result of having a high content of orange prana. Orange prana has cleansing, expelling, decongesting and eliminative effects on the body. It is also very helpful for treating cyst and allergies.
Garlic, besides having high amounts of orange prana, also contains high levels of manganese, calcium, phosphorous, copper, potassium, selenium and tryptophan as well as vitamin B1, B6 and C, therefore it is considered beneficial in boosting the immune system.
Garlic is also known as a natural antibiotic and helpful in detoxification and reducing inflammation.
In traditional societies, garlic was used to treat a wide range of ailments including rheumatism, earache, constipation, wounds, insect bites and asthma. Its regular intake was also believed to increase life span and improve general health. During World War I and II garlic was used as an antiseptic to prevent gangrene. It was also believed that garlic is Aphrodisiac. Therefore its intake was not allowed for monks and spiritual practitioners.
Overtaking garlic is not recommended, especially for people with loose bowel movement, vomiting, pregnant women and dying patients, as too much orange prana may aggravate their problem and affect the unborn child. It is also believed that too much regular garlic intake increases body odor. This happens because too much orange prana makes the body sweat, which might create a bad smell. It is recommended to take garlic in moderation for better health.
In general garlic helps in:
1. Cleansing the Body – Garlic is a fantastic food to clean the body and internal organs. This quality is basically the result of having orange prana in abundance. It is therefore helpful in cleansing and decongesting the body. Traditionally an ointment made from chopped garlic was used on the spine of people with pain or general weakness to improve their condition.
2. Purifying the Blood – Garlic purifies the blood and therefore improve ailments such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, respiratory ailments and infections. Some researchers also believe it can reduce blood sugar and improve diabetes, but this is not accepted by all.
3. Preventing Heart Disease – The heart and circulatory ailments can be improved by using garlic as it thins the blood to diminish and protect against clots. Its orange prana is helpful in removing blood clots. It also protects against free radicals and has anti-inflammatory effects on the heart.
4. Reducing Cholesterol and Blood Pressure – Studies show that garlic reduces accumulation of cholesterol on the vascular walls. In addition, it decreases LDL cholesterol; therefore it is helpful in treating people with high cholesterol. Garlic is also known as a good remedy to improve high blood pressure. Some researches show that garlic reduces blood pressure in people with hypertension by 7% to 8% as well as people with normal blood pressure.
5. Treating Respiratory Ailments – Cough, cold, flu, bronchitis and chest pain can be improved substantially by using garlic. The orange prana, which releases into body by taking garlic, has cleansing, detoxifying and disinfecting effects on the respiratory system that can help purify the blood, cleanse the lungs and decongests the respiratory organs.
It is recommended in traditional herbal medicine to rub an ointment made of chopped garlic and Vaseline on the chest and back of people with bronchitis, cough and chest pain.
6. Disinfecting – Garlic is proved to be helpful in treating a wide range of infections and fighting bacteria. Fungal and bacterial vaginal infections can be improved with garlic. Therefore garlic cloves are used as a remedy for infections, especially chest problems, digestive disorders and fungal infections. Based on a number of references, World War I soldiers were using crushed garlic to treat infected wounds suffered in battle. It is believed that garlic when crushed or bruised, releases Allicin that is a sulphuric compound and is a natural antibiotic.
Garlic also helps in purifying the lungs and the stomach.
7. Improving Inflammation and Rheumatism – Chemical compounds in garlic as well as its orange prana are believed to reduce inflammation associated with various forms of arthritis and therefore are helpful in improving arthritis and rheumatism.
8. Constipation and Liver Ailments – The orange prana in garlic cleanses the stomach, small and large intestines and has an expelling effect on them, which helps the patient to move his/her bowel.
Since orange has expelling effect, it is not recommended for people with loose bowel movement and/or vomiting as it may worsen the problem.
Garlic also triggers the liver to release toxins from the body and at the same time protects the liver from harm.
9. Improving Atherosclerosis – As people age, the arteries tend to lose their flexibility and ability to stretch. This results in hardening of the arteries, which can be reduced by using garlic.
10. Lowering the Risk of Cancer – Garlic can reduce the risk of multiple types of cancer including colon cancer, rectal cancer and stomach cancer. Orange prana with its cleansing and disintegrating effects as well as vitamin B6, known to have cancer-fighting abilities, can help reduce the risk of cancer.
Studies show that people who take more than 6 cloves of garlic every week, have a 30% lower rate of colorectal cancer and a 50% lower rate of stomach cancer.
11. Boosting the Immune System – Garlic has been used against a wide range of bacteria, fungus and viruses. Its orange prana detoxifies and cleanses the whole body effectively.
Because of its cleansing, antiseptic, anti-fungal and nutritive properties, garlic boosts the immune system.
Although most of the facts mentioned above have scientific reasons behind them, these qualities are either directly or indirectly related to the qualities of orange prana that is available in garlic. The quality of all color pranas and their effects on the human body have been completely explained in Advanced Pranic Healing by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui.

Prana Home | Main Entrance, Direction
Facing a good direction can continuously bring abundant joy, good health, spirituality and success to your life. In fact directions have always been very important in traditional houses, as it was believed that facing the proper direction brings good luck and prosperity while the wrong one brings misery and pain. That is why certain directions were considered auspicious and some not.
The direction of the main entrance in the house has the greatest value since it is known as the mouth of the house from which energy flows inside.
We can look at the idea of auspiciousness of directions of the main entrance, windows and openings from various perspectives, from which nature and culture seem to be the two most significant. While culture refers to spiritual and esoteric concepts, nature is related to environmental and climatic factors.
First of all buildings had to face the auspicious directions to welcome the spiritual and positive forces inside the house. Openings and windows should also open towards the proper directions, to let enough sun and wind in.
Today, we can make use of directions to bring the positive energies of abundance, prosperity and spirituality to our homes using the same rules and guidelines. In this case, knowing what influence they can bring to our lives, give us freedom and ability to use them properly.

Directions from Esoteric Point of View:
Based on traditional and spiritual sciences, there exist great beings, who are in charge of different directions. These higher beings are often called the Directional Lords or Guardian Angels, each sending out a certain quality, type and color of energy. In different cultures various names have been given to these great beings. In the creation of Mandala these Directional Lords basically decide the placement of various rooms in the plan as well as the directions of the doors and openings.
In Vastu Shastra and Feng Shui there are ten important directions which should be taken into consideration when building any property. These ten directions include the 8 directions, plus center above and center below. Among these ten directions, the four cardinal ones are the most important; the north, east, south and west.

Directions from Environmental Point of View:
Here, the directions are studied in relation to the sun, wind as well as magnetic poles of the earth.
Sun rises from the east, passes through the south and sets in the west. However due to the 23.5˚ inclination of the earth from its vertical axis, east is not the first direction that receives the sun rays; it is northeast. The same is applied to west. In this way, if we draw an imaginary line from northeast to southwest, the southern half will be the light zone with more heat while the northern half is the dark zone with less heat. In this case the southeast, which is in the middle of the light zone, will have the natural light throughout the day and is recommended for places like kitchen that need light throughout the day.
Sun ray consists of visible white light together with invisible infrared and ultraviolet rays. Approximately from 6 am the effects of infrared rays start which is beneficial to the human health and has purifying effects. From 11 am to 3 pm the effect of ultraviolet rays will be very high which is harmful for the body. From 3 pm until the sunset the effect of infrared rays manifested as heat quality will increase. That is one of the reasons why in Vastu Shastra books south and southwest are normally considered inauspicious and are recommended to have fewer openings.
In relation to the wind, in certain geographical areas that wind blow intensely from a certain direction, that direction has been considered inauspicious as it used to bring disease and cold for the inhabitants. That is why in China, the direction of the north is considered inauspicious, since from this direction cold winds were entering the house and causing sickness. In India and other countries however, north is most of the time an auspicious direction.

To summarize the concepts discussed from cultural and environmental contexts, the 10 directions can be described as followed: (The name of the directional lords discussed here are mainly derived from Indian geomancy and Vedic Textbooks)
East - This is the direction of the rising sun. Indra is knows as its deity. This direction is considered one of the most auspicious directions that gives wisdom, position and spirituality. The early morning sun’s light, warmth and energy are vital to our health; therefore this direction should have windows and openings. In this way by facing east while studying or designing, the enlightenment that comes from the east will inspire us.
Southeast - It is the direction of light and fire. Agni, the lord of fire is the relative deity of this direction. Southeast supplies heat and light which are the purifying factors in nature. In Indo Tibetan Buddhism also Agni is considered as the guardian angel of the southeast direction: ‘Make your hearth in the southeast corner of the house which is the quarter of Agni.’ (Tuluku & Perrott, 1987, p. 20)
South - South is the direction of excessive sun rays. Yama is the directional lord of this direction. Since unbearable heat will pass through this direction in summer, it is recommended to keep it closed. Yama in Indian tradition is considered as the god of death. This direction is one of the most inauspicious directions in Vastu science.
Southwest - This is the direction of radio-active infrared rays of the afternoon sun. Pitar or Niruti is connected to this direction. It diffuses poisonous like sun rays and should be kept high, heavy and closed. This direction is associated with ancestors and should have the least openings.
West - It is the direction of sun set which gives natural light until late hours. Varuna is the directional lord of this direction. This direction is also inauspicious in nature since Varuna is the god of rain, law and the underworld that is associated with night.
Northwest - Northwest is known as the direction of fresh winds. Vayu, the god of wind, is associated with this direction. It supplies pure air for the house as the greatest purifying agent of nature.
North - North is the coolest direction and along with east direction, it provides cosmic energies. So there should be windows and openings towards this direction as well. Kuber, the god of wealth is connected to this direction. Thus it is considered auspicious and produces health and wealth for the inhabitants. This direction should be kept low and with many openings.
Northeast - It is the most pious direction. Ish is its directional deity. Traditionally it was believed that Northeast supplies the most beneficial ultra violet sun rays which have curative effects.
Ish in Sanskrit means the “invisible power that controls the universe.” It is basically similar to Ishana or Ishwar in Indian tradition which means “the lord.” Ishana signifies the subtle form of Shiva that represents transcendental knowledge and has five heads denoting the five basic elements. Association of Ishana to northeast signifies the sum of two auspicious qualities of north as wealth and east as knowledge in this direction. Hence northeast is known as the source of positive cosmic energy which flow through the southwest corner.
Upward space - In traditional societies, upward space covers all the space surrounding us. Its lord is Brahma. This direction gives the power of word and rules all the communications between the two worlds of mortal and immortal.
Below earth - Downward direction is often a symbol of dark depths of the earth. Its lord is Vasuki, the king of cobras. This direction provides stable foundation for the building. Lethargy, inactivity and solidness are its relative qualities.
To know more about the directions, the quality of their energies, their effects and properties you are highly encouraged to attend the Pranic Feng Shui workshop, developed by Grand Master Choa Kok Sui.

The Mental Body and the Power of Thought
Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny. -Lao Tse
Thoughts are in fact the seeds! Why thoughts are often described as seeds that determine the destiny can be understood when we look at the effect each thought creates on us as well as others.
First of all, we think, store and process information because of the existence of the Mental Body. Mental body is the medium of thoughts and ideas and is closely working with emotional and physical bodies. It gives us the ability to think, perceive and process information, to imagine, to remember and to assimilate the results of experience gathered in each life. Without the existence of the mental body, thinking is impossible. In the process of thinking, what is created is a thought, with a form and a wave that affect the thinker and the outsiders. This thought is normally accompanied by the creation of a feeling and if strong enough, with an act.
In fact the Mental World is the world of real man as “Man” comes from Sanskrit root of the verb, meaning “to think.” Therefore “man” means “thinker” and this thinking ability is what that can ascend human from an animal state to “God.” In this line the power of thought is thus of great importance since it spells the difference between inferiority and superiority, animal-life and heaven-life.
Basically a thought creates four types of effects, two on the thinker and two on the world around him.
In fact modern psychology proved that new habits can be formed at any point of time in life. This can be done by the use of will or by repeating certain positive thoughts over and over again, which creates impulses in the emotional and mental bodies. As we repeat this process the nerve cells as well as emotional and mental bodies become so well organized and integrated that the desirable act or behavior follows almost automatically. The technique of “Inner Reflection and Firm Resolution” in Arhatic Yoga basically uses the same pattern resulting in self-improvement.
In this case, certain healing techniques such as Pranic Psychotherapy can also be extremely helpful as they help remove the old negative thought forms and create new positive ones faster and more effectively.
In fact this direct influence of the thought on the character is one of the most important topics dealing with mental body and thought, as character decides the destiny.
Character is the diamond that scratches every other stone. -Cyrus Augustus Bartol
The influence of thoughts on the outside world happens through the creation of thought-vibrations or waves as well as thought-forms.
3. A thought vibration, like all other vibrations, tends to communicate with any matter in the surrounding environment that is capable of receiving it. Since the surrounding is filled with mental matter, which responds to such impulses, a kind of influence is created. This is similar to the effect that a stone creates on water after dropping into a pond, radiating from the center in every direction.
This vibration, has a circumference of influence and if strikes our mental body, it creates a tendency in our mind to produce a thought similar to it. This thought-wave becomes less powerful in proportion to the distance from its source. A strong, clear and definite thought in this case, will radiate further than a weak undecided one. Positive thoughts also by nature, affect a wider distance compared to negative lower thoughts. That is why in sciences such as Kriyashakti and movies such as Secret, the emphasis is on creating a strong, clear and definite thought that can become even more powerful through repetition.
The influence of a thought-wave is creating a similar effect on the other person, rather than the exact pattern. It means that if a person is thinking of Jesus and his devotion to him, this will create a thought of devotion to Buddha on a Buddha follower and Krishna on a Krishna follower. The effect is basically devotion.
Thought-forms affect us and others in three different manners:
- The thought-forms we create that are neither about us nor about others are left behind us. They are not attached to our aura, and not to any other person’s aura, but just floating in the air until they fade away. As long as they are active, they can affect the passengers who come in contact with them and who respond to the vibrations they send out.
- The thought-forms that are created about us, will get attached to our aura and follow us wherever we go. They in fact affect our thinking, feeling and behaviors.
- Thought-forms directed to another person or objective directly goes to that person and if it finds a vibration responsive to its own, will discharge itself. However if the other person’s mind is strongly occupied with other thoughts and emotions that it is impossible for the thought-forces to find an entrance, the thought-form will hover about him, waiting for an opportunity to discharge itself.
Study of the mental body, thoughts and their vast power in influencing a wide range of people and situations opens a new horizon in our life, bringing about a greater responsibility. No matter far or near, our thought pattern does matter!
Be careful with concentrated thoughts. If they are within the realm of reality, they will materialize. -Grand Master Choa Kok Sui

Introducting PranaLife Crystals
One of the very unique and valuable gifts of nature is the crystals and gem stones.
What makes crystals so unique is the ability of crystals to absorb and store energy as well as its programmability. Crystals having a slight degree of consciousness can follow orders and can get programmed to help us in numerous ways including healing, protection, spirituality and prosperity.
Crystals also affect the human aura and the chakras. They act as an activator. The effects of crystals on our system can be different based on their color, quality, size and shape. Although crystals in general make the lower chakras bigger and activated, there are certain geometrical shapes and designs that can make the chakras activated in a more balanced way.
Since crystals activate the chakras, in certain conditions wearing crystals are not recommended such as in case of having cancer or hypertension. Furthermore crystals as energy absorbers can easily get contaminated by the person’s thoughts and emotions as well as contaminations of the surrounding environment. Therefore they need to be cleansed quite regularly to avoid possible contaminations for the user. This also applies when a person inherit a crystal or valuable gem stone. Sometimes, especially if the crystal has been inherited in generations, the degree of contamination is quite high; therefore it is highly important to purify them before use to avoid unnecessary complications.
Crystals are in fact known as powerful instruments for healing and protection worldwide. This is not only due to the quality of crystals to absorb and store energy, which make them get more powerful, but also rooted in their ability to follow simple instructions. The power can further increase using consecration techniques.
PranaLife Crystals aims at intruding various types of crystals and their effects on the body and how they can be used to improve us in various aspects of life including health, spirituality and prosperity.
To know more about crystals and how they work, get cleansed, programmed and consecrated please attend the Pranic Crystal Healing workshop, designed and developed by Master Choa Kok Sui.
Karma, the Causation
“As a man sows, so shall he also reap” refers basically to the Law of Karma and seems to be easy to grasp; if you sow rice, you will reap rice. If you plant apple, you will harvest apple. However, its application in daily life in detail, the method of its working and its far-reaching consequences are so vast and is getting more complicated as our knowledge increases. This normally brings in mind thousands of questions that sometimes remain unanswered as our knowledge and understanding of our past and countless previous incarnation are often so little.
Things do not happen without a cause, but sometimes we just don’t know the cause. -Master Choa Kok Sui
Knowing and understanding Karma not only gives us so much freedom and will to modify and change our destiny, but also brings about us greater responsibility towards our thoughts, words and deeds, as we see a unity in every part of the universe and how our being affects the whole.
Karma in word means “action” and it basically refers to the law of Cause and Effect. The word action is basically far beyond what ordinary mind thinks as every action has a past which leads up to it and a future that proceeds up to it. An action relates to a desire that has promoted it and a thought which has shaped it, as well as an action. Each act in this case is linked to an endless chain of causes and effects; each effect becoming a cause, and each cause having been an effect! Each link in this endless chain is made up of desire, thought and act. Sometimes a desire creates a thought and the thought brings about an action and sometimes a thought, like a memory, arouses a desire and the desire bursts into an act. Therefore Karma can be interpreted as the Law of Causation or the Law of Equilibrium.
Karma being a natural law, is not good nor bad. It is a sequence of conditions, meaning that if a condition is present, another condition will follow as an invariable condition. Therefore if you want to bring about a specific condition, you need to create the primary condition and then the second one will inevitably follow.
Both pleasant and unpleasant experiences are necessary for our growth. All are ultimately good… -Master Choa Kok Sui
Therefore the Law of Karma is not fatalistic. It is a law that exists in nature and in the universe that helps us live, grow and learn through the consequences of our actions. Existence of such law in the universe does not bind, but it frees. In a lawless universe, effort would be pointless, reason would be useless. In a lawless universe, we won’t have enough courage to move not knowing what our action might bring for us. In fact we live, move and act freely and surely because of the existence of such laws!
Above all, Karma builds our character! ‘By the Law we suffer, so by the Law do we triumph.’ (Besant, 2003, p. 73) Having knowledge and understanding of Karma, phrases such as “that is my nature! I cannot change it!” does not apply, as even though each one of us are made in a certain way based on our previous Karma, we are still capable of changing it, using Karma. Knowledge and will is what we need.
This universal Law of Causation binds together into one all that happens within a manifestation, for it is universal interrelation. Interrelation between all that exists – that is Karma. It is therefore coexistent, simultaneous with the coming into existence of any special universe. Therefore Karma is eternal as the Universal Self. -Annie Besant

Prana Home | Living Room, Arrangement
The living room is the place where most of the activities are taken place and where most of the time is spent. Therefore it is quite important to build and decorate it using proper Feng shui guidelines. While the proper flow of energy and a good Feng Shui can bring success, wealth, harmony and peace to a house, facing the improper directions and improper Feng Shui may result in restlessness, weakness, relationship problems and financial difficulties.

First of all in designing a pleasant living room it is very important to have minimum clutter. It should be kept neat and clean along with lots of fresh air, sun light and plants. Windows and openings can bring fresh air and sun light to the room that helps in cleansing and purifying the place from dirty and used up energies.

Clutter not only creates stagnation and congestion, which is an obstacle in the flow of chi or energy, it also affects our mood to a great extent. A messy arrangement and unclean space contributes to a disorganized mind and a messed up feelings! It sometimes may even lead to forgetfulness and disorder. Since we spend most of our time in the living room, we need to feel relaxed and comfortable in it; therefore the layout should encourage relaxation and a cozy comfortable feeling, which doesn’t come from a messy cluttered space.

What matters next is the direction, which is in fact one of the most significant factors in having a good Feng Shui. The chairs, sofas and sitting places should be arranged in such a way that the person sitting, faces the auspicious directions.
While facing the correct direction can have energizing and revitalizing effects, the wrong direction can bring depletion and fatigue to the person.
As discussed previously, each direction is believed to have a lord who emanates a type of energy, affecting our health and wellbeing in a certain way. These types of energies have different colors and potencies and thus bring about different effects on our system. Since a lot of time is spent in the living room doing various activities like hanging out with friends and family, chatting or just relaxing, it is highly important to face the beneficial directions; whether the chair or sofa faces the main door, TV or windows, comes secondary. What matters most is the direction we face most of the time.

Another significant factor dealing with the arrangement of furniture in the living room and main hall deals with the type of energy or chi they project. While Sheng chi is considered beneficial, Shar chi is harmful and is created by the sharp edges and corners. In fact sharp edges are harmful to our health by influencing the aura and decreasing its size. In Feng Shui it is advisable not to have furniture with sharp edges and corners to avoid the projection of sharp chi towards people using the space.

The structure of the space, colors, statues, photos and paintings also affect the quality of the living room and our experience of it, which will be discussed in future articles.
